How it works

What happens after you contact us

Oklahoma has hosted large computing facilities for years without most landowners here having any reason to think about it. What has changed is how much new demand there is and how far out it is willing to look. Here is how we go about answering the question for a particular place.

  1. You tell us about the land

Send us the county, roughly the acreage, and what you have noticed around the place. Mention any wind lease, pipeline, or producing well. Where you are not certain, say so rather than guessing.

  2. We check it against public records

We look up who serves you, what transmission is near, and what the existing energy infrastructure around you means for a connection. Nearly all of it is public record and none of it costs you.

  3. We call you if it looks workable

If it looks workable we tell you what we found and what we would want to do next. If it does not, we say so and give you the reason rather than going quiet on you.

  4. We make an offer, or we tell you why not

Documents come last. Your attorney reads anything before you act on it, and until that point we have asked you for nothing beyond a description of the place.

Nothing in that sequence involves you paying for anything or agreeing not to talk to anybody else. Where a party wants either from an Oklahoma landowner before they have shown any of their own work, that is worth pausing over.
